I am a paleobotanist working on the diversity of Paleozoic and early Mesozoic plants (-400 to -200 millions years), with a special interest for fossil trees. I use the morphology and anatomy of these fossil plants to investigate their systematic affinities and their biology (growth habit, architecture, hydraulic and mechanical properties, etc.). This work contributes to a better understanding of plant systematic and functional diversity in the past and the processes underlying this diversity. This research is part of the themes SYSTE and ARCHI at UMR AMAP.
